Solipugs have a very interesting life style. They begin as a cluster of eggs, each of which can develop into one of ten different types of “segments”. One of these segment types, the dominant one, is the head. Each head collects and fuses with as many of the other segments, called “legs” (each has two legs and a midpart), as possible, and then they battle it out for the food in the egg sac. By the time the sac breaks open there are usually only one or two individuals, each made out of one head and several leg segments. There are nine types of leg segments, each with a different kind of poison in their claws. A typical Solipug has between two and four leg segments, adding up to four to eight legs.

Unlike natural Solipugs, Puppypede has been modified by the Alternitrix to have one of each type of leg segments, giving it a total of 18 legs. This causes coordination problems, but also gives it access to all the different types of venomous scratches. They are as follows, from front to back:

1. Allergen poison. Think a mosquito bite or bee sting, only ten times worse. Causes severe irritation and itching in the affected area. Wears off after a few days, sooner with proper treatment.
2. Sickening poison. Causes nausea, vomiting, and general ill feeling. Is often enough to completely incapacitate someone for hours. Grows less sever after a few hours, wears off completely in about a day.
3. Corrosive acid. Can burn through most metals and minerals. Causes a stinging sensation.
4. Paralyzing poison. Initially causes stiffness and slowness, full paralysis gradually occurs within 5 minutes. Wears off after an hour.
5. Antidote. Cures all the poisons that it can give, except for the corrosive acid (3) and corrosive base (6).
6. Caustic base. Made of a similar compound as liquid drain cleaner. Starts a chemical reaction which turns fats into soap, and because there's fat in all types of cells it can burn though it is damaging to most living organisms.
7. No poison. Just scratches.
8. Lethal poison. Almost instant death. The process is rather painful, characterized by an initial burning at the spot, accompanied by sweating and seizures. Death occurs within minutes due to liver and/or heart failure.
9. Hallucinogenic chemical. Causes delusions, delirium, paranoia, hallucinations, confusion, etc. Wears off after half an hour.

Unfortunately Bink has difficulty keeping track of which claws do what. Also, controlling that many limbs in stupidly hard and counterproductive, so even if she did know the difference between them she'd used the wrong claw half the time anyway.
